Photoshop Brushes
Photoshop brushes are a great way to create amazing looking backgrounds and can also be used for various types of effects.
In this post I have collected the best grunge, abstract, tech and vector brushes.
How to install brushes
Photoshop brushes are .abr files and they need to be installed in a special folder to work.
The location of this folder depends on your photoshop version, but should look like this:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Your photoshop version\Presets\Brushes
Note that you might need to restart photoshop before you can use your new brushes.
Once done you should see your newly installed brushes in the brush tool.
Click on the pictures below to go to the according brush set, after which you can download it to your computer
When downloading these brushes, make sure you read the rules regarding the usage of these brushes!

Could you tell me how to make X brushes. I downloaded your other X brushes and it gave me a virus.
make a new photoshop document, then make your design. then go to Edit>Save present (or something like that) then save it as a brush and viola

You forgot Jashin/Jasin (dont remember full name) grunge brushes, they are fantastic.
I think he is banned from deviantart, I don’t know the reason for that but thats why I didn’t add him. Still he has some amazing brushes!
